A great thing to have two hard drives in old laptops.
I had to order this because my laptop Dell latitude e5440 doesn't come with a separate ssd slot . So I ordered this along with a ssd . Replaced the old hdd with ssd . And then placed the old hdd into this second hdd caddy (slim version) and they both worked in a clear crystal way. Everything's good till now . Will Definitely Recommend anyone who needs to use two storage disks at the same time.

Bought with an Samsung 860 Evo 500GB
surprisingly Price is lower compared to my local market and quality is better. Packaging was upto safty standards Delivery on time And I am definately looking to place 2nd order for my younger brother Laptop. Thank you czone for such an amazing online experince in Pakistan. Best Value for Money
This Caddy is best for old laptops with limited storage options. Just swapped my Friend’s old HDD with Adata SSD and put the HDD in Caddy to use in place of that “now” useless DVD-RW.

Just be sure of one thing, when you first insert the caddy in place and start Windows, you might not see it yet. Since most of us have Win OS installed on that old HDD, due to some “Administration Limitations” that drive is kept offline by default. I too was worried and tried 2 Caddys, but no show. Finally checked the Disk Management in Windows and there it was lying idle in “Offline” mode. To make it online, just right click and turn the drive online. It will immediately show with all partitions in My PC.

One set back though, the made quality could have been better. But in this price, its free. Hope to help.
