where's the display port?!!!
ok as a rule I would not recommend anyone to buy a computer monitor that does not come standard with a display port especially if it renders at resolutions higher then 1080p. Display ports were specifically designed for resolutions over 1080p while HDMI is a 1080p standard port that is used for televisions and cannot show resolutions above 1080p (believe me I tried). If u do manage to somehow get 1440p resolution on it, it would look so ugly that u would willingly go back to 1080p resolution (yes I have done that too). It was not designed for tweaking (overclock or alter resolutions) like VGA, DVI and Display ports (native computer standards) were. I speak from technical experience because I already own a 1440p monitor and have tested out HDMI ports and compared them to Display ports, VGA port, and DVI port. Anyone who wants to risk buying a monitor without a Display port are responsible for their own choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
