AORUS ALL-AROUND COOLING SOLUTION

AORUS provides the all-around cooling solution for all key components of the graphics card. We take care not only GPU but also VRAM and MOSFET, to ensure a stable overclock operation and longer life. On the front side, the large copper base plate dissipates the most heat from the GPU and VRAM. On the back side, the copper back plate dissipates the heat from the GPU back side. All other key components are taken care of very well by the WINDFORCE cooling module. AORUS ensures the customer a better cooling solution in many ways.

LARGE COPPER BASE PLATE

With direct contact to the GPU and VRAM, the large copper base plate combines the composite heat pipes to efficiently transfer heat generated from the interior cores to the heat sink.

ADVANCED COPPER BACK PLATE COOLING

Excessive heat from GPU not only gets dissipated utilizing the massive cooling module in the front but also through the back side with a big copper plate, providing a well-rounded thermal solution for the GPU.

WINDFORCE STACK 3X COOLING SYSTEM

All new WINDFORCE Stack cooling with 3X 100mm fans in an innovative stacking structure for enhanced heat dissipation.

DOUBLE BALL BEARING STRUCTURE

The double ball bearing structure has better heat endurance and efficiency than sleeve structure.

ANGULAR FIN DESIGN

The angular and unequal fins height does not only channel the airflow through the fins and enlarge the contact surface but also results in a lower noise level and better cooling capacity.

COMPOSITE HEAT-PIPES

The composite heat-pipes combines both thermal conductivity and phase transition for efficiently managing the transfer of heat between two solid interfaces which increases 29% of cooling capacity.

Warning: poor manufacture Quality
Note: for reference this GPU is an internal fan GPU or gigabyte custom cooler, the standard nvidia model with one fan and a silver or black body are called founders edition with an external blower type coolers that sucks air in via one fan and blows it out the back. I bought a Gigabyte 980ti G1 Windforce 3 that houses the same 3 set of fans as this, one and a half years ago. Here's an update: one of the fans broke off the spindle. The fans on gigabyte graphics card are poorly made. I inspected how it broke and noticed the shredded thin plastic clamp that held the fan to the spindle as it spun at 2000 rpm. It was only a matter of time before it broke. To anyone who wants to buy a GPU I would recommend getting a founder's edition card as my last founders edition card died after 8 years and in all that time the blower fan continued to work properly. If that is not possible then an asus or evga model is a lot better then gigabyte cards as they are not very durable. I currently reattached the fan with depoxi, do not use elfie it is brittle when it dries. The other problem is that after 1 year I noticed the temprature of the GPU was rising by 10 degrees. Gigabyte does not use good quality thermal paste. I had to remove the cooler off the GPU and reapply the thermal paste (I used arctic silver 5 which has a burn-in time of 1 week). The thermal paste is already doing it's magic. 2 days after application my GPU idle temprature has dropped from 55 degrees to 36 degrees. Sorry to say if u bought a gigabyte DO NOT IGNORE ANY NOISE FROM UR GPU FANS. ribbon wires under the rotating fans touching even slightly will be enough to tear off the fan.
